The MIC Collective

At Montessori International College, we firmly believe that education is a collaborative endeavour, involving not just educators and students but also parents and the wider community. As partners in your child’s learning journey, your active engagement and support are fundamental to creating an environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. In 2024 we launched the MIC Collective to support this vision of a collaborative and connected community.

Who is part of the Collective?

Every parent or carer at MIC is part of the MIC Collective. The group is comprised of a Committee of dedicated parents, with support from the broader parent community and beyond, that play a significant role in the development of a collaborative and cooperative College community where parents and carers are recognised as authentic partners, with teachers and the administration, in the education of their children.

What is its mission?

The MIC Collective represents every parent and carer in our community. Our mission is to create a unified, transparent, and inclusive environment where every parent is valued and encouraged to contribute their skills, talents, and enthusiasm. Together, we aim to build a connected and proactive community, collaborating closely with College Leadership to enrich the Montessori experience at MIC. Through genuine parental engagement, advocacy, and partnership with the College, we aspire to create an authentic environment that addresses our children’s needs and positions MIC as a thriving educational institution and a prime destination for nurturing tomorrow’s leaders and innovators.
