Why are you involved with Montessori education?

I was first introduced to Maria Montessori while at university and was drawn to the holistic approach to teaching. In 2018 I was lucky enough to work at an amazing Montessori primary school in Victoria and see how effective the Montessori method was at creating independent and empowered learners. I finally feel that I have found a way of teaching that aligns with my professional and personal values.

I support children’s learning and development by encouraging them to explore their curiosities.

What’s your favourite thing about your role?

The best part of my role is the opportunity to encourage children to be the most kind and respectful versions of themselves every day.
