MIC offers a range of specialist classes taught by specialist teachers including Mandarin; Music and Performing Arts; Health, Physical Education and Sport; and Visual Arts.
Mandarin and Music are both taught to all students at MIC, starting with the Early Learning program. Health, Physical Education and Sport commences in the Prep year and Visual Arts commences in Junior Primary (Year 1).
In the Adolescent Community students have the option to continue to study Mandarin or to choose another language. The choice of languages to study includes Mandarin, Italian, Japanese, German, Frence, Indonesian, Latin, Spanish, Russian, Maori, and Dutch.
